LIBRARY ACTIVITIES

The Library and Information Center of New Horizon College of Engineering organized an engaging event titled “#Selfie with My Book: One Frame, Many Stories” on 29th October 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Library, Amar Jawan Block.

The objective of the event was to promote reading habits among students and encourage them to express their connection with books creatively. Participants enthusiastically shared selfies with their favourite books, each presenting a unique perspective that made the event lively and inspiring.

The judging criteria included originality, relevance to the book or theme, creativity, technique, and overall presentation. Certificates of participation were awarded to all participants as a token of appreciation, and the three best entries were selected as winners based on creativity, presentation, and expression.

The event successfully created a fun and interactive platform for readers to celebrate their love for books. It also fostered a sense of community among library users and emphasized the importance of reading beyond academics.
