Library Orientation Programme for First-Year Students
The Library Orientation Programme for first-year students was conducted on 8th October 2025, marking an important step in welcoming new students into the academic environment of the institution. The programme was organized by the Library and Information Center with the key objective of introducing students to the wide range of academic resources, services, and facilities available through the college library. It also aimed to emphasize the pivotal role the library plays in supporting student learning, research, and personal development.
The session was led by Dr. Anitha S. Rai, Director of Library and Alumni Relations, who effectively engaged the students and provided valuable insights on maximizing the use of library resources and services. The orientation witnessed an impressive participation of approximately 700 first-year students.
